Patel Pretal has existed in different forms since September 2006; Pierre Vaux and Dominik Salter-Dvorak are now its core members. Music is made with vocals and various instruments processed through computer and tape.

The upcoming release will consist of edits of live and home recordings from the past year, made by Pierre Vaux and Emily Porsch in England, and Dominik in Beijing, China.
